Attendance at school is very important to your child in the progression of his/her learning. Irregular school attendance hinders your child’s progress and minimizes the benefit of the total school experience. Every absence, even part of a school day (half day or tardy), interferes with your child’s progress at school. Your child should come to school each day he/she is well. Students and classes with perfect attendance are recognized each grading period. Students are also recognized at the end of the school year for outstanding attendance (1 absence or 1 tardy) all year. We request that you call the front office when your child will be absent from school at (812) 288-4858. While an email or phone call to the teacher is considerate, the office absolutely needs to be notified of every absence and tardy for accountability purposes. If your child is tardy please, escort your child in the building and sign-in your child in the front office. Regular school attendance is very important to the academic success of every child. If you have any questions about the attendance/tardy policies, please contact the front office at (812) 288-4858.
